La Maison des histoires is open to all dreamers and curious minds. Inspired by Scandinavian literary museums, it offers 150m2 of magic: an immersive exhibition, "storytime-shows", and a café corner. A place where, in every nook and cranny, books come alive.
It was in partnership with l'Ecole des Loisirs and Paris's oldest bookshop specializing in children's literature, Chantelivre, that la Maison des histoires laid its foundations. The exhibition features nine classic and contemporary books published by l'Ecole des Loisirs. La Maison des histoires is supported by the CNL and the Ile de France region.
In the largest room of La Maison des histoires, children are invited to "enter the books". Children of all ages are free to play, tell stories and experience the adventures of their favorite heroes and heroines!
La Maison des histoires is for all children aged 0 to 6, whether accompanied by their parents, teachers, caretakers or associations. To ensure a wide range of audiences, la Maison des histoires has set up a solidarity ticketing scheme: €1 from each ticket is allocated to provide free admission to underserved communities with limited access to books, through associations or REP and REP+ classes.

For the occasion, the whole house is yours and your friends': you can play freely in the exhibition, do a workshop on the theme of your choice and, of course, enjoy a delicious lunch or snack before blowing out your candles! Your parents will also benefit: we'll take care of everything :)
